**While all Essential Oils carry some risk of irritation when applied without a Carrier Oil, Cold-Pressed Citrus Oils possess constituents such as Furanocoumarins that can trigger a reaction in the skin when exposed to sunlight or UV rays after application.

​

**Phototoxicity can occur when the constituents of certain Essential oils, react when exposed to UV light. This can result in inflammation, blistering, reddening, and burning of the skin. These natural chemicals are found in certain Essential Oils, specifically Cold-Pressed Citrus Oils.

​

**When using potential phototoxic Essential Oils, be sure to provide coverage with hats, clothing, SPF, and shade. Also, protect yourself from excessive sun exposure for up to 24 hours after application.Using photosensitive oils at nighttime helps reduce the risks associated with these oils.

​

**Divine Skinsations should not be used to treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and anyone who is pregnant or under the care of a medical practitioner should consult physician before using.

**When ordering during the Summer and Winter months, it is important to retrieve package as soon as delivery is made to prevent excess exposure to the elements.

**If your product freezes, let it thaw naturally at room temperature. If your butter arrives melted, simply refrigerate your sealed product until it resolidifies. All Divine Skinsations Butters are anhydrous (water-free), therefore extreme temperatures may alter the consistency. Rest assure this does not alter the effectiveness of the butters, and you will still get all the amazing benefits of a pure, natural, product.

**If you receive a melted, 'whipped' butter, the content of the jar will appear less than full when it solidifies. This is due to the airy, light and fluffy consistency of the butter, before being altered during shipping.
